Confessions Of A Sleep Deprived Mom…

• I am a stay at home mom of 6 children between the ages of 5 -15. My entire existence revolves around my kids. I literally spend 24/7/365 with them. I am so thankful I have the ability to be home for them.

• I haven’t been on a date with my husband in 8+years! I honestly can’t even remember the last date we had. Time with my husband is nonexistent. He works very hard to support his family and I am so grateful for him. I am blessed to wake up next to him every morning.

• I homeschool my 6 children online and I spend 12 hours a day split between 6 kids on their education every single day. It is not easy! It takes a lot of time management skills, organization, determination and constantly learning new skills, so I can be a better learning coach for them.

• Our home is not always as clean as I would like. (I’m a clean freak) Things get broke and damaged and we can’t always fix it right away. But our home is paid off, even if it’s not perfect it’s ours.

• We don’t own anything that’s really nice or expensive. We live a minimal frugal lifestyle that could make even the cheapest people cave, but we live debt free!

• We started this lifestyle out of necessity. Childcare for 6 children is outrageous and costs more than I was able to bring home. My entire check would have gone for childcare plus some of my husband’s income.

• I am exhausted every single day! I feel like I haven’t slept in 15 years, and often times my anxiety consumes me. I am the definition of Mombie.

• The most common phrase I hear is “I don’t know how you do it?” Honestly some days I don’t know how I do it either. I put one foot in front of the other and just keep going even on the days I want to give up, because my children deserve my very best!

• We may not have everything we want but we have everything we need. We stay focused on our goals and let nothing stand in the way of reaching them.

• Our Journey has not been easy, We have been through a house fire, losing everything to historic flooding, many medical issues and surgeries, homelessness, job loss and chosing to walk away from everything we knew to make a fresh start.

Our Journey has made me who I am today and I have no regrets!

Whatever your path in life, dont give up! You will find your way! Just keep making progress and you will get there.
